On Monday YPAS Peer Researcher Grace Ward spoke at the Houses of Parliament with young people Kai and Warith to discuss the Blueprint for Young Futures Hubs as a result of the #FundTheHubsCampaign.
YPAS attended the visit alongside members of Youth Access, No Limits, MAP and Croydon Drop-in.
The purpose of the visit? To inform parliamentarians on the latest developments, to share and push the findings from the Fund the Hubs Blueprint document, to spotlight best practice for the hub model and to drive action.
The event was organised in collaboration with the Centre for Mental Health, CYPMHC, Luke Billingham (Researcher at the Open University and Youth Worker), the National Youth Agency, and hosted by Natasha Irons MP.

“Young Futures hubs should support young people to meet their potential, regardless of their background, troubles, or aims. As a group of young people from across the country, we are recommending the model for hubs that has been outlined in this blueprint based on our own experiences of accessing services.”
