What are secondary school wellbeing clinics?

Wellbeing Clinics – are offered in all secondary schools in Liverpool. They run for one full day each week during term time.

About

Each school has a dedicated YPAS practitioner who meets with young people on a one-to-one basis. The YPAS team of practitioners includes Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) workers and Children & Young People’s Wellbeing Practitioners (CYWPs). The wellbeing clinics aim to give young people early access to support mental health and emotional wellbeing difficulties

How will this service help me?

When accessing our wellbeing clinic in school you can expect to be invited into a safe, non judgement space, listened to and access one to one support for any challenges you may have faced recently.

What day does the Wellbeing Clinic run in my school? +
Every Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday.
How can I refer into the Wellbeing Clinic in my school +
All referrals are made by school professionals, speak to a trusted member of staff in your school and they can make the referral.
How many sessions can I access if seen through the Wellbeing Clinic? +
We would offer between 6-8 sessions in school.
Are my sessions in school confidential? +
Yes, our Wellbeing Clinic Practitioners adhere to YPAS confidentiality agreement.
Will I be allocated the same YPAS Wellbeing Clinic Practitioner? +
Yes, you will always have your sessions with the same allocated YPAS Wellbeing Clinic Practitioner each week.
