We are delighted to announce that YPAS has been awarded its second CORC Badge of Recognition, this time for Staff Development.
This follows our first Badge, achieved in 2024/25, for Leadership and Management – meaning YPAS is now recognised across two of the four themes of the CORC Best Practice Framework.
What are the CORC Badges of Recognition?
The Child Outcomes Research Consortium (CORC) Best Practice Framework is a set of standards, tools and guidance for ensuring the highest quality use of outcome and feedback measurement in organisations supporting children and young peopleâs mental health. The Framework is structured around four themes:
- Leadership and Management
- Staff Development
- Infrastructure and Information Management
- Service User Experience
CORCâs Badges of Recognition are awarded to member services who demonstrate effective work in any one of these four areas. They provide formal recognition of an organisationâs achievements and progress toward integrating routine outcome monitoring into the delivery of mental health and wellbeing support.
What this means for YPAS
Achieving the Staff Development Badge recognises our commitment to investing in our team and embedding a culture of continuous learning. It reflects the work we have undertaken to ensure our staff are equipped with the skills, confidence and support they need to use outcome and feedback measures meaningfully with the children, young people and families we serve.
This recognition sits alongside our Leadership and Management Badge, awarded in 2024/25, which acknowledged our organisational vision and strategic approach to embedding routine outcome monitoring across the service.
As a long-standing CORC member, YPAS has consistently demonstrated a commitment to developing outcome measurement practice. These two badges reflect the progress we have made across multiple areas of the Framework, strengthening our ability to deliver high-quality, evidence-informed support to the young people and families who rely on our services.
