What is the YPAS+ Community Offer?
YPAS has Children and Young People’s Wellbeing Practitioners working in communities across Liverpool, on evidence based training. These practitioners can provide 6–8 free, one-to-one sessions around worry and low mood. We are calling this service our YPAS+ Community Offer.
How will this service help me?
- Aid young people/children in learning to manage and reduce their worries.
- Help young people/children who can find social situations anxiety-provoking or who feel nervous about talking in front of people or talking to new people.
- Support young people/children who feel down or low in their mood.
In order to access this offer:
- The young person/parent need to give consent to record for training purposes (not shared publicly).
- The young person needs to have no risk of harm presentations.
We currently have no waiting list for this support, although this is likely to change with demand.
How can I access this offer?

- By attending our WISH (Walk-In Support Hub) service Monday – Friday at our Central hub (for opening hours please click, here).
