Support
Services:
YPAS
supports young people from 13 to 25 with a range of issues.
Services at YPAS include advice, support and group work.
The
support team at YPAS works alongside Liverpool Youth Service,
Connexions Greater Merseyside and other agencies that
work with young people aged 13 to 25.
All
young people have to deal with issues which may affect
their lives and how they feel about themselves.
These
issues may include:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Debt
- Relationship
worries
- Family
issues
- Problems
at school or college
- Low
confidence or self-esteem
- Sexuality
- Bullying

- Mental
well-being
- Self
harm and self-injury
- Welfare
benefits advice
- Housing
issues
- Isolation
- Education
& training
- Health
- Drug
& alcohol issues

YPAS
can offer support with all of these issues.
The Support
Services team's aim is to provide support and advice to
young people which is designed to meet individual needs.
Support
we can offer:
- relaxed
and friendly space
- the
chance to meet other young people
- 1
to 1 support
- listening
- advice
- advocacy
- group
sessions
- laundry
& shower facilities
- putting
you in touch with other agencies

- working
for you with other agencies
with your consent
- friendly
and approachable staff
- warm,
safe and comfortable environment
- a
service that can reach out to meet your needs
- encourage
better understanding of mental health issues
- coping
with stress
- drop-in
evening for young gay people
