Daily Drop-In :

The drop-in is open: Monday to Thursday: 1pm to 4pm, Friday 12 to 3pm

We aim to ensure that our drop-in is a safe, warm and friendly place where young people can come to meet and make friends, have a tea or coffee, chat and relax, or use our computer suite with free internet access. There will always be a member of staff available to meet and assist you if you need support. We have a variety of opportunities in the drop-in: Tuesday: Advice and support, art & craft workshops Wednesday: Advice and support, cooking on a budget / healthy eating Thursday: Advice & support, issue based workshops If you need more 1-1 suppport we can offer you an Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) appointment during the drop-in or at other times. Or we can refer you to our counselling service.

YPAS offers advice on a wide variety of issues including welfare rights, housing, drug and substance use, health issues and more.

Advice

If we cannot help you, we can hopefully refer you to another agency who can give you more specific advice. If we need to liaise with outside agencies on your behalf your permission with always be requested.

You can make an appointment with one of our staff by calling in or giving us a ring. Sometimes you may be able to access advice by telephoning or calling in to the drop-in, if appropriate staff members are available.

Support

We all need support through difficult times in our lives YPAS aims to provide a non-judgmental environment which could make all the difference.

We provide informal support within the drop-in, and in some cases we can offer more formal support such as advocacy work.
